      Refund policy

       

      Please be aware that certain items can NOT be returned, refunded or exchanged:

       

      • ITEMS ON SALE
      • LARGE ORDERS (ORDERS OF 24 BOOKS OR MORE)
      • PERSONALIZED ITEMS
      • ORDERS THAT REQUIRED A PHOTO PROOF

       

      Returns may be permitted under certain circumstances: Books returned with no fault to the seller (i.e: buyer’s failure to read the product description) will require deduction of original shipping costs from refund. Additionally, buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

       

      You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request and ship your return. Send return requests to: LIBRARYBYDESIGNINC@GMAIL.COM.


      If your order has not been processed, you can cancel your order by contacting us. Please include your order number and contact information as well as the reason you would like to cancel the order.


      Please note, if you cancel an order after the product has been processed or shipped from our warehouse, you will be responsible for the freight costs (both ways) as well as a 15% restocking fee.


      Please take this information into consideration prior to placing an order.

       

       

      Detailed return instructions are below:

      PAY ATTENTION TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS. YOU ARE LIABLE FOR BOOKS THAT ARE RETURNED DAMAGED:

      BUYER MUST RETURN ALL BOOKS RECEIVED (including any complimentary free with order books) in perfect condition or be liable for any damages. If books are not packaged properly, THEY WILL DAMAGE IN SHIPPING. Package books exactly as they were received: tightly, together as a unit and secure. Loose books will move about and damage each other. Loose books will arrive with bent, damaged corners. Damaged books can not be resold in our book collections. Damaged books can not be repaired. If returned books arrive damaged, you will receive a refund that is minus the amount of the damaged books.  IF YOU CAN HEAR THE BOOKS SHIFTING IN THE BOX, THE BOOKS ARE PACKAGED IMPROPERLY. If you fail to package the books properly, THE BOOKS WILL DAMAGE IN TRANSIT.

      DO NOT REUSE MAILING BOXES WHEN SHIPPING HARDCOVER BOOKS: The structural integrity of mailing boxes can be compromised in the mailing process and are only meant for one, single use.  Do not reuse mailing boxes for shipping hardcover books. I would only suggest using a BRAND NEW 200lb ECT box. If returned books arrive damaged you will receive a refund that is minus the amount of the damaged books. If you fail to use a new 200lb ECT shipping box, THE BOOKS WILL DAMAGE IN TRANSIT.

      IF THERE ARE BLACK, TEAL, RED OR NAVY BOOKS IN YOUR ORDER: You MUST protect these books from the other books (exactly as they were shipped to you). If you do not, the darker colored books will rub on the lighter colored books while in transit and WILL damage all books around them.  If returned books arrive damaged, you will receive a refund that is minus the amount of the damaged books.  If you fail to separate the black books from all other books, THE BOOKS WILL DAMAGE IN TRANSIT.

      Buyer is responsible for return shipping. Additionally, original shipping cost may be deducted from refund depending on return reason.
